since learning that the last sense to be gone is hearing, i make sure to tell them that they're loved and cared for, taking care of them as if they're still alive

since being a student nurse doing duty, i've lost 3 patients under my care. two from the emergency unit and another in the wards

it's quite saddening and frustrating cause you want them to be okay and get better but their bodies says otherwise
