Oh no. So sorry to hear that. Fingers and paws crossed and sending good vibes. Best wishes. ๐
In the words of Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon: I'm too old for this shit.
When I see a book they want to ban (especially for political reasons), it's a signal that I should read that book.
The @lastweektonight.com main segment last night was about gambling. Excuse me - it was about "prediction markets" which are definitely not gambling. ๐ Anyway, another excellent piece from John Oliver and the Last Week Tonight team.
Looking for a new book? Always good to start with books that people want to ban for political reasons. If they don't want you reading it, you probably should read it.
Yeah, but we really really really need that AI slop so this is all just fine. Dumbest timeline ever. SMH.

AI is not inevitable. I don't know if/when the bubble may burst and neither does anyone else. What I do know is people are pushing back against using it and states are pushing back against data centers. If it's so good, they wouldn't need to fight this hard to cram it down our throats.
Feels like it. No screenshot yet, but I believe a 1 click screenshot is in the beta version right now.
This is a dance off. If you see this, repost a dance, or you're eliminated

Always money for the 3 Bs: bombs, bullets and billionaires
I think that's where I parked on Sunday. ๐
Not sure why everyone (including myself) is paying taxes today. I mean, isn't there around a gajillion dollars on that tariff shelf? Why do they need our money? ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Godzilla Minus One was fantastic so I'm really looking forward to this one.
Let's drop some #goodnews. Following a 2022 pilot program, Chicago has turned all public school IDs into library cards. During the pilot program there was a 63 percent increase in library access among economically disadvantaged students and 81 percent among English language learners.

Clearly I need to fill my own data center with the ability to spot missing words and typos ๐
Your brain is ultimate data center. Fill it with new knowledge every day.
I wasn't going to watch the new Harry Potter thing because JK is well... you know. I thought it was some kind of new story set in Potter world, but I guess it's just a remake of the movies turned into a series? Why? Yet another reason not to watch it. SMH
Just watched @jakeinmotion.bsky.social live stream with some of the new features. Looks great. ๐
Adorable. ๐คฃ๐
Mike Johnson is aware of something the Pope said? Wow. Wild days.
Happy Birthday Truman! ๐
