Sometimes being a band director feeds my DIY addiction.
All set up to start jazz band tomorrow. We haven’t really had one at LMS since pre-pandemic but now we have 17 kids signed up with almost full instrumentation. Can’t wait!!
Just took around 100 middle school band/orchestra/choir kids on a tour to our four feeder elementary schools. To say I’m tired is an understatement.
But man is it worth it to see kids get excited about performing arts. Thankful for awesome colleagues and a supportive district.
Guitar is all over the place. And I would say there is more music out there than ever before. Just have to look for it.
Beginning Band mass rehearsal day. That’s a lot of chairs. It’s about to get loud.
