It’s good to see the majority party prioritize reading, teacher salaries, and getting more teachers in the pipeline, but these are disjointed initiatives, not a long-term plan for student success.

A zero-based property tax or huge cuts in property taxes would undermine public safety,
& our local schools. It’s a primary driver of local development. I’m deeply concerned that now there’s going to be a compromise that’s going to include that.
