@davidjesudason.bsky.social one to keep an eye on. New Desi pub looks set to be opening in Plumstead - the Plume has been closed for some years, and garden redeveloped into housing.

Was awoken earlier this week to an unusual sound <insert subtext here> it was an Eurasian Blackcap, which I admit I had to use an app to identify.

A short bus ride to stop 9, The Green Goddess. Superb venue with 20 taps and 3 handpumps.

I've got a beer from my home town. In London. I never thought I'd see the day! Cheers @seanayling.bsky.social @tomstapandbrew.bsky.social

Superb artwork for the cask beer badges produced by Indie Rabble brewing.

Superb artwork for the cask beer badges produced by Indie Rabble brewing.

We’ve got @indierabble.bsky.social taking over our cask lines from Thursday. Ordering the beers may or may not have had something to do with the badges!

Absolute works of art!
Launches Thursday 26th

Ah yes. Forgot that as a mere pedestrian I must defer always to the more important car. Which naturally went speeding off, after threatening me, because I happened to be crossing a raised entry side road in front of him. #pedestrains #angerissues

It wouldn’t be a Collabageddon if I hadn’t tried to achieve more than the time allows. (Before opening).

10 observations from a long weekend in London | Boak & Bailey We’ve just spent a few days in London stomping our way through the West, the East and the South, stopping to look at pubs and drink a few beers along the way.

BLOG POST: “London is a uniquely stimulating place, especially if you’re interested in beer, and we found ourselves fired up with lots of thoughts and ideas...” 🍺🍻

NHS failing to cut waiting times as promised in recovery plan, report warns Public accounts committee finds Labour’s progress ‘appears to have stalled’ despite billions of pounds in investment

What a shocking waste of opportunity this government has proved to be.
It has squandered its time and attention on ridiculous fiscal rules, persecuting refugees and trashing ecosystems in the name of growth, while failing to deliver what we so desperately want.

Yes exactly. I choose to drink up and leave. The temptation to correct was strong though!

Exactly. That’s what I and many others had to do to get down to the shops / sorting office / McD. It’s horrid trying to cross 3 lanes of busy traffic onto a narrow path. But was the only way. The scheme was a complete fuck up in my view.

Sat in a micropub resisting the temptation to correct the “know it all” that sat on table next to me and proceeded to inform his guests all the wrong things about beer.

Last week it looked like this…
Frankly, outrageous that they closed it for so long (with no ped diversion), and then reopened it unfinished and dangerous.

Wow. This is where we are at. Shift to the right is complete. Door open for Fartage et el to sweep in. We thought the country was fucked under the Tories, apparently we ain’t seen nothing yet.

I reckon more wards in the same borough will go green next year. Not only has the party centrally (national level) chosen a right wing mantra, locally they have chosen to ignore residents.

What’s that using CIL/S106 funds for actual demonstrable projects? I mean it’s almost like that’s what it was designed to do, unless you live in RB Greenwich.
