Today, we honor farmworkers whose labor and sacrifice have shaped California and the communities we serve.
In observance of Farmworkers Day, Mountain View City Hall and most City facilities will be closed on Tuesday, March 31.
The City of Mountain View kicked off its third Chinese Civic Leadership Academy this month. The free program is for Chinese-speaking Mountain View residents. Through the program, participants are encouraged to increase their civic engagement and volunteerism in the community.

The updated draft Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan is now available for public review. Community members are invited to review the Plan and submit comments by March 31 at ImagineMVParks.com. The draft will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission on March 17.

The Lot 12 parking lot in Downtown Mountain View will permanently close to the public, effective 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20. The City-owned parking lot is closing for the construction of a new affordable housing project.
