MacOS Mail previews using the default Helvetica, and then Menlo. Two areas are highlighted that show where a spammer as used zeros for capital O in the name "Costco," and Capital i for a lower case L in "Blue Shield."

Changing my Mac mail message list font to Menlo - makes it much easier to spot scam emails when you can see the zeros being used for 'O', and capital i's for L's.
