I'm not interested in arguing semantics, thank you. Like I said, if you want to do that please take it up with academia.

I’ve had the same editor since 1967. Many times he has said to me over the years or asked me, Why would you use a semicolon instead of a colon? And many times over the years I have said to him things like: I will never speak to you again. Forever. Goodbye. That is it. Thank you very much. And I leave. Then I read the piece and I think of his suggestions. I send him a telegram that says, OK, so you’re right. So what? Don’t ever mention this to me again. If you do, I will never speak to you again
Maya Angelou on the joys of being edited
I've been reading Umineko using the english fan patch for the switch version... I really like it, but I ran into a few issues and thought, "I wonder if I could fix that"
...so I've been doing that

I’m talking about a field of study that has existed since computers were invented, not whatever definition of AI you have in your head. If you have problems with the terminology go take it up with academia instead of pretending to live in a world where it doesn’t exist lol
They didn't say it magically sprang up out of AI, they said that mRNA technology wouldn't be as advanced without it, which is demonstrably true considering machine learning is (and has been for years) extensively used in mRNA research.
AI != gen AI
What? Machine Learning is a subject of AI and has always been. Teaching a computer to recognize patterns on new data based on catalogued data is literally artificial intelligence.
why did anyone keep making music after crush 40 released live and learn
Welcome back Charlie Nash
that's what makes it so good though
eu quando todo mundo odeia a história merda que eu faço e preciso inventar uma desculpa pra dizer que na vdd vcs que não entenderam
omg so many people actually think this is a good idea I hate carbrain so much
Oh my god lol
Remember the original Bayonetta voice actress calling people Bayonutters during her attempts to get people to boycott Bayo 3? Because I think about the word Bayonutters a lot
I consulted the oracle and she told me you have to make a video on the Saint Seiya PS2 games
Nobody asked but this is the one I always show people. Making this in the 2000s must've been crazy

Think of how many games where the verb is violence. How many games (including the ones nominated for tonight’s BAFTA awards) where you shoot, fight, kill.
But when games want to explore the topic of violence in a meaningful way, that’s the issue?

Comic. [Person and person with white hat facing two boxes stacked with $80 price tag and sale tag on each box.] PERSON 1: They want $80 for this? I could make one myself for $10 in parts, an hour of work, a trip to the hardware store, another $30 in parts, another few hours of work, two more trips to the store for $20 more in parts, another hour of work to redo the first hour of work because I messed up, and $80 to buy this when the one I made breaks.

The second batch of Fumofumo Beatrice plushies are starting to ship today!
And then the other person is only reading the AI summary anyway
This tweet would give Ichiro Mihara a concussion
I think it makes sense, honestly. Even in a role-playing setting people tend to gravitate to things they relate to, and it's not surprising that most people relate the most to the "human" character since they're also human.
It's the same principle that makes us see faces in cars, I imagine.
I suppose that’s fair, but I don’t really understand why 😅
I strive to always have a guy named Kincaid at the function
I would tell those hypothetical vegans to read my post again if that’s what they got out of it. They’re smarter than that.
Surely you realize that even though I’m a human in real life, I can still fantasize about doing things impossible for a human in a fantasy setting? That’s kind of the point.
This comparison makes no sense lol. A single hamburger doesn’t cost 2000 liters of water, and if it did, you know. It feeds a person. We need food to survive. Not really the same thing as an AI prompt.
I've really been enjoying #Higurashi so far! Here's a WIP for what will hopefully end up a print!
