I don't normally buy board games on Amazon because I'm a firm believer in supporting my local game store. But in this case I did have a gift card to use and the price on this one was too good to pass up. So this will be my one Amazon board game purchase for 2023.

I had a similar weekend! Took 16 games to our local store's used game sale and ended up selling 10! 🙂

Tuesday night at the game store! Tonight we played another four-player game of Flamecraft. The game definitely has a different feel to it at four players as the scoring is a lot lower and it feels like there’s less time to get things done. But it’s still a lot of fun! 🙂

We really enjoyed this one too! 🙂

Game 38 of the 10 x 10 challenge! Tonight we returned to Flamecraft for our second play on the board. This game was an absolute barnburner, with the fancy dragons proving to make the difference in a crazy 95-92 win for Team Blue! I can see this game getting a lot of plays for us! 😊

Tuesday Game Night! Everyone at the game store was playing Lorcana tonight, and since we didn’t bring our starter decks with us, we just came home and played a couple of rounds at the house. 🙂

Game 37 of the 10 x 10 Challenge! After our initial play of Flamecraft on Friday night, we decided to add it to one of the remaining three game slots on the board. The fancy dragons proved to be pivotal for Team Red in this game en route to a 78-54 victory in the first play of the challenge. 🙂

Friday game night! Tonight was our first play of Flamecraft from Lucky Duck Games. This game is a lot of fun! It's primarily a worker placement game with an element of hidden goals as well. If you're a fan of worker placement games or cute-looking dragons, you should definitely give this one a try!

Tuesday game night at the game store! Tonight we played a game of Wingspan from Stonemaier Games. I hadn't played Wingspan in about two years, so it was fun to be able to play it again after all this time. And who doesn't love a bird feeder dice tower. 😁

Definitely a fan of this game! Lots of fun in a short amount of time. 🙂

I stopped playing Werewolf for this very reason. 🙂

A little more about me... my fiancee and I are big board game fans. This is a picture of our 10 x 10 challenge board where you try to play 10 different games 10 times each in a given time frame. For us, we're trying to complete the whole board by May 31, 2024. 36 games in and 64 to go!
