I’ve spent over a decade building apps and websites in niche frameworks that require hand-rolling a lot of UI elements and I’m finally building an app in something more robust (React Native) and I’m not sure if I should be proud of myself or ashamed to be using so many delightful “shortcuts.”

First post on this site. Figure I might as well start with some #wisewords from my 10-year old son (who is a pretty great little artist). Spoiler alert: in terms of post quality, it’s almost certainly downhill from here.
