Skimping on hairdryers is such a hotel ick for me. An appliance that is not that expensive but a crap one will undermine an otherwise great room. (That said my hotel chain would have Dyson hairdryers in every room and I’d probably go bankrupt haha)

I like Parkrun because it caters to people like me (keen but slow) as well as those who are just good but every week I try and find the funniest person to be overtaken by and I think woman in her 60s pushing a double running buggy takes the biscuit.

But she was never going to win and it was important not to even run the risk of splitting the vote. I agree with Stephen though, she’s absolutely absent in government and the interesting things she used to say are nowhere to be seen.
