New series of Interior Design Masters, hooray. A show that I love but where my opinion of what good is so at odds with the professionals every single episode.

Leicester doing back to back relegations the same night as a ten year anniversary of winning the league is quite camp, actually.

The Benugo at the LTM pisses me off so much. The offering is so crap for a captive audience and there’s hardly anything good for children - and it’s right by the play area.

Westfield was at absolute perfect capacity today (probably about 25%). Didn’t feel eerie but noticeably quiet.

Yes, but always “subject to satisfactory references” - it’s not a fait accompli if an employer receives an unsatisfactory.

It’s just green drink to me (even though I recognise there’s obviously a difference between proper and what Blank Street put out)

This would be my f-off lottery win priority purchase - private chef. I can drive the car I have now and don’t particularly care about changing it, my life would be changed by a chef.

As a good heuristic for life, 'is this how I would have approached this activity ten years ago? Because if so, I should consider changing it' is a good way to either save money on things you no longer need and/or enjoy the fruits of your greater success.

Ah yes of course, Arsenal fans can’t be real because they’ve been successful in the past. Much like Labour doesn’t think anyone in a city is a real person, we’re just fake fans because our teams aren’t crap.

Is anyone else’s Sky Sports feed glitching every five seconds? Don’t know if this is a my satellite issue or a broadcaster issue. Also I want to die already.

What is going on with this Sky Sports feed?

Skimping on hairdryers is such a hotel ick for me. An appliance that is not that expensive but a crap one will undermine an otherwise great room. (That said my hotel chain would have Dyson hairdryers in every room and I’d probably go bankrupt haha)

I like Parkrun because it caters to people like me (keen but slow) as well as those who are just good but every week I try and find the funniest person to be overtaken by and I think woman in her 60s pushing a double running buggy takes the biscuit.

But she was never going to win and it was important not to even run the risk of splitting the vote. I agree with Stephen though, she’s absolutely absent in government and the interesting things she used to say are nowhere to be seen.

A forgotten element for me is also how it felt there was so little choice in that leadership election that it just had to be Starmer but even then, at the start, there was no enthusiasm. It just needed to not be Rebecca Long-Bailey lest the party die further.
