Today, we celebrate Emancipation Day. The District's history is built on the culture & leadership of Black residents. That legacy drives our collective fight for self-determination for DC today. All are welcome to join the celebrations at the 21st Annual DC Emancipation Day Festival this Sunday.
My next Workday in the Ward is in Woodley Park on Thurs 4/23 at Open City (2331 Calvert St NW). Whether you’re navigating a city service or want to discuss policy, this is a great opportunity to connect.
