I gave up on the format yesterday and then I had an idea for how to beat Energy with LE, beat it twice this league
Oli gives trample and kills fast, n red gives us removal. Living End is a threat and not the main plan.
My modern season may be saved
I’m making a decision to sit Modern rcq season out. The format is unplayable, the gameplay is v random, the decisions mostly don’t matter and there isn’t an edge to be gained in deck selection either.
I’m not going to pretend the format is healthy, it’s like playing slots
Modern Boros Energy needs to catch a ban, i’m so tired of this mh3 precon dominating the format. It’s so boring and frankly offensive to the complex and dynamic game that is Magic for such a deck to gatekeep the format.

Modern Boros Energy is a broken deck, people need to stop coping themselves into thinking they can beat it. It doesn’t lose to anything, fullstop.
The rate on the cards are straight up a mistake and they’ve gone through several weaker iterations in a more powerful digital format
Ok so after looking into Historic today and finding out that Ajani, Nacatl Pariah was banned since the last time I played speaks volumes to me about how broken the Boros Energy cards are. Keep in mind this is a format where those cards are also nerfed (ie. ocelot is 2 mana, etc)

5-0 with 5 land Spy. I’m finally having fun playing pauper now that i found a deck that speaks to me :)
This year might be my last for grinding magic for awhile so i’m going to try to make a real run at the mocs this season and plan to get up on all the formats.

If I liked Modern more i’d try this in challenges, this is the 75 i would currently endorse. Importantly the mana is better than the last list.
The energy mu is still bad, could maybe play some # of Temporary Lockdown.

I have, i like what that deck is doing, i think its better against energy but i think it’s slower which is a problem in such a fast format. Both versions have their problems tho
5-0 with a slightly offmeta take on living end. I’ve been experimenting spicier builds but those aren’t quite there yet.
I feel like this deck and all the pitch interaction is good rn but the energy mu is bad so i’m tryn to include some power spikes.
List needs some adjustments
