Right but Oxford and Cambridge are allowed to enter by college, not by university. Which is why I guess Manchester make this claim….not to say they would not be the winners anyway!

Agree. I met Alice several times and she was always exceptionally kind and generous. Her work on hereditary ovarian cancer was an important contribution to the field. I hope there will be an appreciation in one the genetic epi journals.

Anyone else riding a vintage bike from Bell St Bikes? (located near London’s Paddington Station but out of business for years). I had my 1985 bike rebuilt recently by the great team at C and L cycles in Montreal, and it is riding like a dream. The BSB 400 logo is just about still visible.
