We wish him every joy and future happiness in his retirement.

Quote: ‘To be invited into the economy of grace-upon-grace is to receive the favour of sharing in the unfolding of God’s purposes. This is not to do things on God’s behalf, but to act alongside God - and so to be drawn into the fullness of who we are called to be.’

As we celebrated the Feast of the Annunciation at our end of term Eucharist, Dr Jenny Leith encouraged us in her sermon to consider what the exchange between Gabriel and Mary shows us about how God shows favour to us, through calling us to join in with the work of redeeming creation.
