I had a man who saw me legally crossing the street, ran a red light anyway, almost clip me with his car, and the had the gall to aggressively tell me to “get out of the f*cking way” as he passed me by inches.

My first response was still not to shoot him in the face.

French writer, Albert Camus once said-"Be careful, when democracy is sick, fascism comes to its bedside, but not to inquire about its health."

And with a thin smile, it fluffs the pillow, smooths the sheets, and whispers, "Rest now—I’ll take it from here."

It’s amazing to find out at this late date how much the rule of law depended on people simply deciding, on a voluntary, daily basis, not to break the law.

As a small business owner who produces their product in Mexico (culturally/historically it is made there), this is going add additional hardship to an already tough situation. It’s infuriating.
