I actually had this same argument with a coworker last week to which he kept deflecting and just blaming regulations. I almost asked him how the boots taste.

I wish I could get into EQ, but to be fair, I was always more of an Asheron's Call guy.
Let's not forget the absolute sham that was the last one they had. Yikes. If they farm it out to a 3rd party company again, It'll be the same mess and probably the last Blizzcon ๐
I have to be really clear: I'll never block someone for having a differing opinion from me. However, if you're condescending or otherwise troll-y, I will. There's absolutely no reason to be a fuckface while trying to make your point. If it's not constructive, it's not worth my time or energy.
I take my foot off the gas/hand off the throttle before most intersections long enough to check left and right to give myself time to adjust. I've been hit on motorcycles multiple times by people who can't seem to stay off their phones long enough to notice they're running a red light.
"Clearly you need to drink this koolaid, too"
Don't remind me. ๐คฃ I feel like, to be radicalized, you already have to be in a very specific state of mind.
I definitely remember the facepalm moment I had when brexit happened, too. While I don't live in Europe and don't have a dog in that fight, I just don't get the logic behind it...
Rational and reasonable people don't need to be radicalized and shouldn't be susceptible to it either, imo. It's definitely ok to have conviction, but conviction without rationality and reason are how we end up with unhinged people. I wish I had the solution... ๐
I know it's extremely cliche and unrealistic to say, "Fuck 'em. Who cares what other people think?", but it holds SOME merit. In my opinion, it's more about not giving those types of people that kind of power over you. That's exactly what they want.
I loved Soulcalibur, back in the day. World Heroes and KoF, too!
I've always wanted to get good at DBZ games, but that requires you to also be good at fighting games... which I'm not! They look like they're a blast though! ๐คฃ
Your doubts can eat shit. You're the best.
TLDR; We can't be expected to behave within social norms because that would be "woke". No shot we're voting to protect anything but our own self interests.
I'm still absolutely blown away that half our country has no idea how a tariff actually works and they voted explicitly to support something they don't understand... Wild times we're living in.
Walking away from the platform completely may have been the best thing I've ever done for my mental health... and blood pressure.
Oh, but they're "political prisoners", remember? Now if you'll excuse me... ๐คข
Sometimes I wish we didn't have the internet so I'd never really know if my childhood heroes are actually shitty people.
I didn't open twitter once today. Feels pretty good!
I really feel like I want to write something optimistic here instead of just clicking the heart button, but mentally, I'm in the same boat as you and I completely get it. So, uh, I'm gonna click the heart button and clarify that it means, "I'm with you in this dumpster fire"
I feel like the dem party has a bad habit of getting complacent, which is weird because VISUALLY the party looks very mobilized.
You're not wrong and it's incredibly disheartening.
Traditionally, while the republicans have gone low, democrats have gone high. It's just about time to take the gloves off because nobody cares if you're high roading when the house, senate and executive are red...
I've made that swap, too. I'm coming up to the end of my Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster (1-6) playthrough. Even if it's only a temporary break from multiplayer, it's still a really calming breath of fresh air.
I finally migrated from that hateful, dumpster fire of a platform today. I haven't deleted my account yet, but I know I need to just rip that bandaid off. Maybe tomorrow ๐คฃ #ICanQuitWheneverIWant
