I swear, you haven't lived until you have pushed and kicked 18 knackered teenage students through Marseille airport at stupid o'clock in the morning!
While we're all focusing on arches, this bad boy is right outside my hotel in Marsellie.
I mean, it's fine, but not 100% sure what all the fuss is about
It's been a week in Marsellie and I've got to say, at times it's absolutely lovely!
Good morning from Marseille!
So, Marseille is a thing and will be for the next 12 days!
On a plane and been given the seat next to the emergency exit.
This might be too much responsibility for me to take! The pressure!
Although the extra legroom makes up for it!
JUST LAUNCHED on Kickstarter! Arcs is back and weirder than ever! Featuring a suite of strange new expansions, screen printed pieces, and beautiful deluxe add-ons. Go Beyond the Reach!

It’s out!
Eldest happened to be in Monaco today, and totally randomly the body Pope drives past!
Finally got round to watching SNL UK, and it was... Fine.
No, screw it, it was more than fine. It was borderline good! Genuinely, actually funny. (not all the time, but enough of the time)
Big shout out to the Lady Di impression and the "What type of Irish is your grandad" sketch.

The youngster insists we start watching Star Wars fun the beginning.
I hate him.
Fern Brady wearing a camera helmet on Taskmaster and opening the task, which has a red wax seal, and reading the contents. She has a purple set of coveralls on as well, which is just fun.
"Open the Strait of Hormuz. You may not receive the help of any other sovereign nation. Fastest wins."
In Harrogate tomorrow for the Airecon boardgame convention.
My excitement for the day is only slightly offset by the knowledge of what time I'll need to set off to get there for doors opening!

I agreed to binge Alien Earth with the eldest, but it's been a while and now I'm having to watch it clandestinely on my own, like it's my own dirty little secret.
It is though really really good!
But wait... There was more!
I'm definitely not going to be quite as successful this year, mainly because I'll be in France for about 2 weeks.
If I can get these Terminators done though I'll be happy!

I've not put brush on plastic for about 4 months, and I've got a million unfinished projects, but the start of #MarchForMacragge has got me digging these big boys out.

Saturday night, and there's only one option...
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!
Another game of Arcs this afternoon, this time with just the youngest. It's BRUTAL at 2 players!
Starbuck is also upset that the box is smaller than my usual games!

Arcs also had these lovely Tarrot cards, which are objectively the best standard-sized card.
More space for text and the gorgeous art, but also fits perfectly in the hand.
It is clear that most people don't have strong feeling over the size of their cards, and frankly it shows.

A bit of a Wehrle & Ferrin double bill last night with a sharp, cut-throated game of Arcs, followed by the delightful (but also cut-throat) Root.
After only a couple of games, Arcs is quickly becoming a favourite. Just need to rustle up 100 quid for the campaign expansion!

For A Few Dollars More? Sure, why not!
These 4k remasters are exceptional.
Clint has never looked so good!
Sometimes, after a long day, I just have the urge to chill out with A Fist Full of Dollars.
Today is one of those days.
I bloody love it!
Day 3 (part 3)
Stupidly decided to look for the man up a mountain.
Got stuck in some overgrowth and had to be rescued by a pilot how just happened to be hanging around.
He took me home.
Missing man still missing.
Tomorrow I'll look for him near some boulders. Much safer!
Day 3 (part 2)
Took a boat ride north to an abandoned outpost that looked like nobody had done the dishes for a while. Couldn't stop to clean up, I had to go back out to find a missing person.
It was getting late, but a Ranger must do what a ranger must do, right?
Day 3 (part 1)
Helped a friend win an argument with another friend by purposely getting eaten by a giant wild creature thingy to prove that said creature wouldn't eat living things. Then killed it using the knife the 2nd friend gave me.
Day 2
Returned home to help a charming neighbour make a lovely stew from locally sourced ingredients. He was so grateful he game me the recipe so I could cook it myself whenever I like.
Blessed!
Day 1
Delivered some nice warm cookies to a nearby village. Made some new friends.
(I may have used 1 cookie to lure some predetors away but I also may have snuck one for myself! Shhh, don't tell anybody)
Delightful
