Survivors are scattered. Some remain on the planet, some still there from nearly two years ago, and some were "rescued" by a 6 day old Elf who cast Planar Step and whisked two others to Elfland (which might be in space..?)
Punjar is still in danger *and* the thing in the mountain still writhes!

The end, when it came, was quick. The Kithmandos returned (some under a new subterranean influence) from an Ishgar'Ols research base having learned to hate their human "masters".
Lots of PvP (don't be a coward, allow PvP in RPGs), an Orm attack, and magical backlash from the death of the God-King.
Purple Planet finale (for now) ended with 36 pc deaths in one session. Each human PC was in charge of a warband and had a Kith PC in all the separated warbands (with some other silliness going on, 7 sets of 7 magic rings and shit yanno.)
RIP the God-King captured by @themoonwizard.bsky.social
I feel compelled to tell you to look up the spelling on the Prodigy corp leaders' name to feel a moment of agony.
I need to watch whatever episode came out this week - I'm *still* holding hope this is going to be good. It keeps waffling back and forth for me. *Choices* were made.
That's just like... pre-sorting the loot by "does it float"!
Rambones! ๐คฃ
Been writing irreverant session summaries for the last half-year or so, but I wish I'd been doing this for both of our parallel 3+ year campaigns.
The Kithmandos are exploring an ancient research base from the fall of the Purple Planet when there was still *some* hope in the past.
Bonus skeleton.
Who was joking? ๐ถ
This sparks great joy in my heart to hear!
"Now this is Skiff racing!"
We're deep in Purple Planet Warcrawl right now using a weird hybrid of "rules" to balance play at scale vs zoomed in RP scenes. Kithmandos just stole a skiff last session and are now zooming around scouting for their God-King.
Thx again for a peek at the Warlords rules!
We ran 9 games for DCC day and it was a hot mess in a fun way. Extremely happy to have so many cool people around me that I get to hang out with.
Thanks homie - kind of you.
Mostly offline these days but still doing shit. Very grateful for any real connections made online, we had a good run of "useful internet, but life is in person and online energy is very sapping sometimes.
Rad poster for our next gathering by mega homie Casey and some random gaming bullshit as tax.
Somewhere underneath Carter Street in Lankhmar. Crazy fun tonight, just 3 players, 3 rooms (2 secret), and 4 hours of paranoia, traps, speaking statues, a crazed priest, evidence of the RFLB, some soul transference prison, and sweet "vengeance" on a guy in a safe room who wanted to be left alone.
I'm here to talk about this for hours and ready to hop on Chronicles of Mystara.
Punjarians on the Purple Planet once again.
Remembered my trees.
Lots of patience and knowing this would take forever paid off hugely today.
Playtested the OG Warhammer 1e (mass battles *RPG*) Ziggurat of Doom scenario for 3D Roleplay Con in May.
Jungle terrain is fully magnetized/modular, worked like a charm.
Same with Zig.
Good times!
Forgot my trees at home :)

As with many things the *trick* is just lots of hard practice ;)
I'm sure you'll find your way but always happy to discuss and share tips!
I'm more into sculpting my own at this point if we're going that route in general but for a club effort this is definitely a treat!
I have a month-ish to see if we can't get this turned into a bunch of metal minis...
A tale of two cure times. Naismith commission sculpt of a friend who runs our local old school minis con. Zig nonsense WIP as well.
Found something known not to be lost but frustratingly difficult to locate amidst the strange shambles that constitutes life recently.
Courtesy WIP Dwarven ๐ and random dungeon BS from 616 last night. The first group to make it into the Rune-Keepers fane and discover some likeness of truth...

This made me actually laugh out loud...
Malotoch the Carrion Crow? I believe they debuted all the way back in 3.5 era with #5 but are certainly part of the DCC RPG pantheon.
Outside that there's Tyaa the Winged Goddess but that's from Lankhmar.
Finished up Rock-616 for the local crew, 3 deaths! Glorious deaths! Immolations, ripped in-half by chainaxes by possessed teammates, and immolated by "Dragon's Breath!" in the heart of Grongazzhar!
Only one Dawi left to report what "Truly" happened down there during debrief...
