I remember watching the original Jon Pertwee series in the seventies. I was terrified. Then I saw the Doctor Who exhibition in Blackpool with the costumes a few years later. They were so cheap! I couldn't believe that they'd been so effective on screen. But that's Doctor Who for you.

The joke was great. The picture was lovely. Double win.
Hope you were in a safe space.
Oh dear. People.
That would do for me. There was a lot of fun to be had with the four, which a series would be able to exploit better. To give four such disparate characters enough to do in one film is difficult though I thought they did well to cram each hero's abilities in. Just about.
I watched this last night. I definitely enjoyed it. It was well cast and fun but I doubt It'll stay in my memory for long. So for a Marvel film, a definite improvement.

My boyhood hero.
I'd never heard this glorious song, so thank you
That opening scene, Cillian Murphy wandering through a deserted London after waking in a deserted hospital. An acknowledged homage to Day of the Triffids, an excellent book worth looking at. Mam watched it till they were being chased up the tower block, and then it got a bit too tense. 😀
I just watched Popeye The Slayer Man.
He is what he is and that's all that he is.
Which is shite.
I loved that movie
I didn't know his name but googled him. I recognised his face immediately and apparently have seen him in 11 movies and TV shows. I think you're right.
