With the track record of these films I go into any Alien/Predator movie with low expectations.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one who does. I still will go back and read his reviews. One of the things I appreciated about him was that he never lost that sense of magic that movies can bring. Whenever I see a movie that is amazing I wish he could see it and write about it.
