Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.

They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.

That energy is all around us.

And it does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Widerstand gegen Migrationspolitik: Immer mehr Pilot*innen verhindern Abschiebungen Abschiebungen kosteten den Bund letztes Jahr Millionen. Dabei wendeten Polizisten tausendfach Gewalt an.

The Supreme Court confirmed what your bank account already knew: you were paying an illegal Trump Tax on nearly everything you bought. More than $160B drained from families under a fabricated “national emergency” the Court says never existed. This wasn’t a tariff. It was a heist dressed up as policy

The American president is more insulated from accountability than a British royal.

Our political system provides the elite with immunity. It has to change.

"Was immer das Reden mit Rechten also gebracht haben soll, geschwächt hat es die Rechtsextremen innerhalb und außerhalb der AfD nicht. Trotzdem hat man das Gefühl, dass derzeit mehr als je zuvor mit Rechten geredet wird."

Federal judge rules DOJ can ‘no longer’ be trusted in voter roll crusade The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.

Minneapolis' Community-Driven Anti-ICE Organizing Is Showing The Way What Minneapolis activists have to teach us about organizing communities to resist ICE

ICE’s tactics have been terrifying and tragic, but Minneapolis is responding in incredible ways. Residents are organizing, feeding and housing their neighbors, and putting real social infrastructure in place. What’s taking shape isn’t just a reaction, it’s a blueprint for resistance.

Sepia-toned vintage portrait photograph of Edith Clarke (1883–1959), the pioneering American electrical engineer, inventor of the Clarke Calculator (a graphical tool for solving power transmission problems), and the first woman to earn a master's degree in electrical engineering from MIT. She is shown in a close-up head-and-shoulders view against a dark, neutral background, gazing directly at the camera with a composed, intelligent expression. Clarke has distinctive curly hair neatly styled, and she wears thin, round pince-nez glasses perched on her nose with a thin bridge and side arms. She is dressed in a formal dark blouse or jacket. The classic early-to-mid-20th-century studio portrait style conveys her trailblazing role in electrical engineering and power systems innovation. #EdithClarke #WomenInEngineering #ElectricalEngineering #ClarkeCalculator #InventorsHallOfFame #MIT #MITAlum #PowerSystems

A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
