Yes, there is new `git history` family of commands added in github.com/git/git/comm.... It looks like it will be part of Git 2.54, which I think is supposed to be released later this month.

It does not. It's supposed to move .git somewhere inside .jj, as `jj git colocation disable --help` says.

Please file a bug report if it simply deleted the Git repo for you.
