Personal writing isn't just confessional, it tells audience members who have felt the same way, "It's okay, I understand." There's always someone out there who will get it and appreciate it, even (or especially) when the feelings are embarrassing or ugly.

2025 has without question been the most difficult year of my life. My whole world fell apart, but I'm still here picking up pieces.

For anyone else out there in the scary position of knowing things will never be the same and looking for what comes next, I hope we find ourselves there soon.

For all of two years, I had a Christmas tradition where I'd click through an interactive hedgehog cartoon to watch all the endings.

Then YouTube removed those features and this was lost... but now it's not! The studio uploaded a non-interactive version.

I feel like not only is this a word we should still commonly use, but there should be another word for being a person where this is the primary way you clean anything (i.e. me, a, uh... scurryfunger? Scurryfungalist?)

A furry musician played at his funeral. Some of his furry friends were there. He was buried in his fursuit with his favorite guitar, his "wuffcaster." He made his music. And if he wasn't a furry, who is? And if he wasn't a musician, who is?

What does furry music have to do with being furry? My late husband, @scriabinjots.bsky.social , was a furry, a musician, his entire life. He married a furry. He identified as therian.

If you've ever felt something about one of your favorite artists, musicians, showrunners, comedians, or whatever, being LGBTQ+, I don't see why it's so hard to understand why some people are interested in hearing music from the pov of someone who shares an identity or interest with them.

Makes me depressed when I see "furry music" trending for any reason and there's always a few posts that say "I don't like it, I don't get it, why is it furry?" that have a bunch of likes. If you don't get it, fine, but why the unneeded negativity?

Bluesky Support has suspended this furry congressional candidate's account for no apparent reason. They want to limit his reach and kill his campaign, presumably for not being whatever they consider "advertiser friendly". We really need to get loud about this, and not let them get away with it
