Alright, face is properly textured now! Just gotta do the same for the body and that's basically all the important stuff done on the model, though I got some small things to fix.

I always liked how Timesplitters was animated. I think other games were animated like that too but it was really prominent in those games. Very expressive, really felt like it was done by hand, which it was as far as I know haha

I think it had something to do with making something invisible lmao
so you know I know ball: an old trick was welding a water / soda to the limbs so you can pose them better cause it ignored the ragdoll's constraints.
There was some glitch you could do to get the lighting to fall along the figure better but I don't think I remember what it is.
The first thing I can remember doing creatively for a long time was posing models in gmod and sharing the photos with other people on facepunch
so making this steph model is kind of a full circle. I wanna see if I can import it into gmod when it's done lol
basically what's left is better facial rigging, then a proper UV unwrap and texturing.
Honestly if someone was just really experienced at this I can see how they could make all of this in maybe 2 days if that. The fun part is blocking it out, the most tedious has been fixing non-quad planes lol
next up on the list is fixing the wrist rotation, and then I gotta got into her face topology and track down quads and ngons again.
That's as good as it's gonna get at my skill level, and it's like 3x more than should ever be needed lol
If it works at this level, it'll work at any reasonable level below this.
By far the most complicated part of the whole thing and it's still not *perfect* but you gotta call it at some point
