Some days the wins will be big, others they will be smaller. Every win helps. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It took two years to bring down Watergate.

I need to hear something good. I've been in fight or flight almost constantly the last week and a half and especially the last few days. I need some hope that things will get better and that we aren't just totally cooked.

There are a lot of lessons to be learned from the chaos and insanity of the last decade, but if we learn nothing else, let us learn that from here in out FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LISTEN TO BLACK WOMEN.

My mind and my heart are broken and I don't know how much longer I can hold it together.

I'm losing my ability to see any good here. I'm angry at the things that are happening and scared of what could happen. And everyone in power that COULD do something choose to instead just wring their hands and clutch their pearls and cling to civility rather than fight back.

I'm scared of allowing myself to hope. I did that during the election and look what happened. And try as I might, I can't look away. I'm still the terrified 17 year old in AP Calc glued to the TV waiting for the 2nd plane to hit, for the towers to crumble.
