“Why are you so quiet?” I’m too busy listening to this fascinating debate inside my head.

She was a reality-show star in 2000s and she has recently climbed Everest (among other tops). That girl does many side quests:)
I remember not consenting to any “reels” on this platform. How am I seeing this?
But it’s much more fun to fight against the non-existing problems (like immigrants and trans people) than real ones.
The pace of enshittification of this platform due to AI is truly astounding
I’m staying alive because I refuse to die before Putin:)
Yes, move fast do crimes
Hungary, you did it!! 👏👏👏
Yeah, love to see how everything we care for gets so easily destroyed. So many people, unfortunately, have no shame in Academia.
I like that we always need to conduct an “analysis” on things that were logically obvious from the beginning:)
Det er jo allerede veldig få offentlige toaletter i Oslo…
That’s my only hope
There are already questions whether traditional-format education is helpful in the modern world. I am worried this will ultimately lead to the erosion of education and science as a result.
And I understand that we are all overwhelmed doing five jobs in one. However, AI is not a solution to this problem. It will only make our workload worse. How is it possible not to see that?
The way I “feel” about AI is that it shouldn’t be anywhere near a classroom. It’s not a tool, it’s betrayal of to the coming generations.
The water was wet again?
Probably should start with not starting new wars and finishing the existing ones.
Then why are “professionals” here, destroying this wonderful platform?
That’s definitely a you-problem:) don’t generalize
I am so glad there aren’t any “reels” here, and we can actually have proper conversations. The moment we got TikTok and reels became a thing, it all went downhill so fast.
There should be some kind of ban from publishing for such behaviors.
What a great list of coolest people 😄
And now how much did you benefit from not paying scholars, editors, reviewers?
Hahah who even thinks like that? That’s insane.
All I can say is that starting a war is easy. Finishing it — much much harder, almost impossible. In February, it has been four years since the 3-day “operation” in Ukraine began.
And that’s Scandinavia, so I shouldn’t really be complaining, at least we get good salary at the PhD level.
The requirements at the masters level in my university were at the PhD level, and what was supposed to be a PhD program essentially meant being left completely alone to figure it out all independently. This for sure has a lasting impact on one’s career.
You can always try it to say you did, but you don’t have to use it regularly to know, I agree.
Another group of people I might never understand no matter how I try: those believing the question of whether AI has consciousness is the most pressing problem in the world at the moment. It’s not even in my top 100 of currently pressing issues. Just why? Why do they care about that of all things?
I agree with you, I think oral tests is the only way. However, I am really worried, in a couple of years, it will be really sad to watch very few students being able to produce any coherent thought due to their dependency on AI doing all their studying for them. Just my pessimistic prognosis.
