Another one I’m proud to have worked on during a work placement. It’s sad to see how often women’s pain is dismissed. Hopefully as more people speak out some changes will be made.
Grateful for the opportunity to speak with Cecilia and learn more about an overlooked topic.
I would say the point is not that Brexit caused misogyny, rather that this rise has come alongside women losing protections that they had when the UK was a part of the EU.
Journalist and author @cjdebarra.bsky.social brought the Notts Queer History Archive to Sheffield's Central Library last Wednesday, highlighting the lived experiences of queer people in Nottingham through the ages.

I’m happy to see my story published, even if I don’t get credit for it.
It’s frustrating that an agency would offer work placements and not have a solution when their editor gets the byline instead of the student who brought in and wrote the story.
