we officially have a trailer!! #owh 🍂🌸✨️ youtube.com/shorts/LPK3i...
a man who is probably a vampire and not a greengrocer.
I'm just a simple, country vampi - greengrocer.
A sketch of a vampire who is having a nip slip because of his very expensive rob.
More vampires.
There just one in the picture.
But it feels weird to say "more vampire."
Detail of Hera from a painting depicting the return of Hephaestus to Olympus. The goddess is trapped in a cursed throne sent to her by her son Hephaestus as punishment for casting him from heaven as a babe. An attendant, perhaps Hebe, cools her with a feather fan. A Satyriscus attendant of Dionysus plays a double-flute. - From the theoi.com
A recreation of the previous image done from memory.
I tried to recreate the image of Hera on the left for memory XD.
Couple in grey scale, very sketchy style, historical fashion, bit fantasy
Quick sketch.
new post on ko-fi!! ^o^ #owh
Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024 By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1 For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1) And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2
I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!
I think I might start punderworld tomorrow and see how it goes 👀 thank you for the rec!
the Hebe and Demeter interaction was so special to me! Hebe’s graciousness and surprising wisdom were astounding. She knocked a little bit of sense into Demeter, especially in saying that we must be okay with sharing our burdens because, in one way or another, aren’t we all needy of something?
On another note, Episode 259 had me immediately scribbling down the quote, “I cannot help this feeling that we almost got away with it. We almost got to keep each other.” Quote collector’s lives were changed (mine).
Currently, my eyes almost popped out of their head when I saw the illustration of the harpy because (1) I had absolutely no clue what was going on in the plot & (2) my mind immediately went, “I don’t remember a talking tree in mythology?” Wrong piece of media, but yea, prophetic nevertheless.
If you, like me, sort of drifted into academic oblivion to the point where you forgot your hobby of Lore Olympus weekend reading, look no further. I have a bit of advice (here) on how to get back on track. Binge episodes #235 forward, as a starting point if you took a temporary hiatus.
We are very much close to end of the series (as Rachel shared) but I am dreading it’s end, I will greatly miss the portrayal of the lore olympus characters represented by orbs of color and shapes. Finding my next Persephone themed media is going to be HARD. MADELINE MILLER BETTER FINISH HER BOOK!
I think it’s super interesting how mainstream the lore Olympus comics have become. Online niche readership has declined; meanwhile physical copy acquisition has surpassed a lot of expected parameters. At this point, any YA-Romantasy reader has had an encounter with lore olympus.
