Great stack of old gig posters! This week’s recording – three of us tucked into John’s cake while Hal was in Cape Town, found a great stack of old gig posters, Pepper had a nap, more tea, more cake, did some mix…

If you fancy a night out Rich and I are looking forward to seeing Dexter play with Makk (quality, ambient, folky) at The New Adelphi Club, Hull this Saturday 11th April. It's a double header with The Hillbilly Troupe, so a good night is in order.

Got the garrison pissed. Took their castle. Raised a flag. Fell to defeat. Imprisoned in a hole in the ground. Escaped. Rowed the Tweed. Took refuge in a farmhouse. Fugitives dressed in women’s clothes. Pardoned before the traitors death of being hung, drawn and quartered. Plucky lads. Lucky lads.

Very much looking forward to Folklore, Myths & Legends exhibition at Eastgate Studio in Beverley, not least because these Tarot Cards designed and hand printed my son Asa in Hamburg are part of the exhibition. How beautiful they are too. 😍

During these challenging times it's more important than ever to look beyond the many overhyped mainstream music acts and to explore the vast wealth of creative talent just waiting to be discovered!

This thread will include links to artists and bands that are well worthy of further investigation.
