Survival-tips for indies doing for-hire:
- Ask for downpayments
- Favor monthly payments rather then "upon validation & delivery"
- Break in smaller deliverables if needed
- Monitor the negative news of your main clients
- Put penalties for late payments
- Do not wait to send a formal payment notice

Je suis pessimiste mais pas autant. Oui des jobs vont disparaitre irrémédiablement. Mais on est en train d'assister à un changement de génération, avec des vieux studios historiques qui ont du mal à s'adapter au marché actuel et des tas de jeunes petits studios bcp plus flexibles qui n'en veulent.
