I really just wish it could be easier for me to get things started with life, like buying a house, but instead I feel I am stuck with this huge debt over my head.

I finally paid off one of my student loans today! I did all the things I was told to do. I went to a good school, I got a science degree, I have a good paying job and it still took over 6 years to pay off one of my loans. I Still owe over $70,000 in other two student loans but I am making progress.
