In all seriousness tho the timing on this is too late for me to think it was a surprise for the Pitt staff. Feel like he had to be asking for a ton of money and Kuntz thinks he’s not worth it. After all, Michigan had 1 freshman in their rotation yesterday. I wish Pitt had money to retain him tho.

This is actually because the Pitt athletic department has figured out how to get college eligibility for LeBron so he will be playing the 3 next year.
I’m fine with this, not necessarily glad but like I’m still gonna watch. However…
Allen you gotta drop a BAG on 2-3 transfers cause what else is the money going to. I’m talking mid-major conference player of the year guard and 7’1 2 blocks a game center.
Pitt should play away games at Duquesne and RMU every season. Game the metrics, get a win “on the road” and if you lose you probably would’ve lost at home anyway.
NC State shot the lights out, but man lots of their players are just straight up chopped.
I would wear my Kenny Pickett Raiders jersey but NFL shop canceled my order for no reason 3 weeks after I ordered it
Former #Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett will make his first start of the season and with the Las Vegas Raiders
He'll take on his former team in the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in Week 15
You can hear the frustration in Louis Riddick’s voice as an alum on that unsportsmanlike by Lynum.
Pitt basketball is not going to be very good this season, but man, Barry Dunning is going to get hot and end some ACC team’s tournament hopes in February.
Honestly I don’t think this team is that bad, but they do not have a scorer which seems bad for a sport where scoring is important.
This is a really poorly officiated game. Don’t get me wrong Pitt is giving the ball away, but 9-2 is a crazy foul differential.
My predictions for 2025-26 Pitt basketball stat leaders
Points: Nojus Indrusaitis
Assists: Damarco Minor
Rebounds: Roman Siulepa
Steals: Damarco Minor
Blocks: Papa Kante
3pt per game: Nojus Indrusaitis
If you go back to the Kent State game last year, it was pretty clear Eli doesn’t see the defense, he looks right through them to the receiver like they’re ghosts. Didn’t grow out of that.
Failure by the players, coaching staff, strength and conditioning staff, and training staff
Was Lovelace trying out for the volleyball team?
Yeah sounds like a safe bet. Kinda unfortunate that Dugger had good qbs a year ahead and behind him, and was a Cignetti recruit
That’s disappointing. Having Dugger as second string genuinely made me feel like Pitt could take a step forward. Could’ve been such a weapon. Not utterly shocked cause he wasn’t Kade’s recruit. So many biases have plagued Duzz’s tenure.
Yes, in a way similar to ultimate frisbee, you get 4 steps with the ball in your hand.
A stick, a helmet, a ball, a goal, and uprights. Most importantly a ton of fun!
Turn on ESPN3 at 4:30 to see the Pitt hurling team take on defending champ Purdue in the national championship.
Just a thought, maybe the guards should stop feeding Corhen after it becomes clear he’s outmatched down low.
7 man rotation, tire out your starters for a loss to a sub .500 ND team. No Jorge or Papa, limited Amsal. 2 scholarship players who haven’t seen the court in ACC play. You play to win the game but I don’t see many guys coming back without getting a shot in the remaining 4 games.
A starter injured, regular season essentially lost. Pitt has to use its full roster tonight. No reason to sit Amsal or Beebah anymore. Get the young guys some experience. It’ll pay off in the ACC tourney and future seasons.
This game will be magnified if Jeff is fired at the end of the year. It’s a shame because 1. I think this is the first inexcusable ACC loss of the season 2. I don’t think this loss is as bad as it may feel rn because how did UVA make those shots 3. Lowe will probably leave if Capel is let go.
Watch Jorge on offense off ball. He’s showing signs of frustration at the lack of ball movement and motion in the offense. Saw him point and yell at the guards twice.
Tuff 😤
I’m okay with any win when you only make 6 threes!
I’m going with this team doesn’t have a true star so they are going to lose most close games. Lowe is great, but it’s hard to be the go to guy as a sophomore, RJ Davis wasn’t and now he’s ACC poty. Ish is good and experienced but not an ACC level 1st option. Team’s good but without an X factor.
Reporters describing Cam Corhen: Pitt finally has a solid strong big
Corhen in real life:
