Rook is based on the Andrew & Barclay Toto n. 1619 0-4-0ST built in 1915.

Rook was a new engine in the island.
He got asigned to the Sodor Ironworks Co. for aditional support.
Certain person got interesed in him and said "yup... you now belong to me... HEY, SOMEONE PAINT HIM PURPLE!".
