No matter what, old farts go first, women are just an afterthought.

LUTNICK: It is outrageous that Canada will not put US spirits on the shelf. It is insulting and disrespectful to America
SHAHEEN: They won't do it because of the insults from this president and comments like yours
He's a ghoul and people will die because of him.
We need to flip congress at midterms to IMPEACH his rotten ass.
TRUE!! NIH R01 grants award $500k of direct costs per year for four or five years.
That does not include facilities & administration (i.e., overhead) costs which add, on average, 50%+ in cost.
So, another million would fund one study for one year.
While DOD blew a BILLION in one month, in Sep'25.
I was a volunteer in a longitudinal Alzheimer’s study which represented a collaboration among many US research institutions. The whole thing was shut down last year by the Tump administration. All that data lost, all that time wasted.
BALDWIN: Do you think NIH should fund less cancer research?
RFK Jr: No, they should fund more, & one of the few agencies that got a raise in the budget was NCI
B: That increase is less than $1m for an institute with a $7b budget. That's a .01% increase. It wouldn't even cover one additional grant
Screenshot of a tweet by Rep. Ro Khanna (@RoKhanna) praising a breakthrough in pancreatic cancer research, calling it "the best of America" and noting that lead researcher Dr. Balachandran is the son of Indian immigrants and works at Sloan Kettering. He quote-tweets Ian Weissman, DO (@DrIanWeiss...), who reports that an mRNA pancreatic cancer vaccine showed lasting results in an early trial, with nearly all responding patients still alive six years later.
Science leads to amazing breakthroughs. Immigrants lead to amazing science.
This is great news. Cheers Hungary.
Morning friends. There are still those amongst us that need to wake up.
On a totally "America First" agenda, it would be good for us to recognize USAID gave the United Stated worldwide influence which is power we've enjoyed since WWII...
our credibility has been damaged tremendously by trump and we lost much of our position in global leadership
Let me see. Through our Congress we decide to set-up programs to help to the poorest members of society.
Then this yahoo comes by and says, "Let's save a bunch of money by restricting healthcare to the poorest members of society! We can use that money to blow-up Muslims!"
What to do with the poor?
This man sounds like Kermit the Frog and looks like a sweet potato that exploded in the microwave. I can’t believe there is anyone in America who believes he’s the picture of health.
Protest in front of Trump tower on April 19, 2026. I’m holding up a sign that says “rapist” it has a picture of Trump’s face.
I’m from the Chicago area and get involved in rallies/marches there, but I was visiting NYC and just happened to be walking down 5th Avenue when I saw a protest in front of Trump Tower. I grabbed a sign and joined in. ♥️ Thank you New York Democrats! ♥️
I remember seeing Ronstadt that year at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin. Great show! She was wearing that same uniform (cub scouts, I think). I played her Heart Like a Wheel album so many times.

Pedolf not only views climate change as a hoax, he's turned his back on green energy & doubled down on fossil fuels making America more vulnerable to oil shocks. Meanwhile China is making robots that run marathons using batteries the US can't manufacture. 20th v 21st century.
They think you're stupid.
This image shows a person sitting on a bench seat inside a train or subway car, holding a large, fluffy dog on their lap. The dog has a thick, light gray to tan coat with a darker face, and its tongue is hanging out as it appears happily panting. The person is wearing a red jacket and blue jeans. The dog's leash is visible, and the person's hand is gently holding it. The window by their side lets in natural light, and blurred passengers can be seen seated further along the train.
Has science gone too far?

"They went door-to-door to tell their neighbors what the city had not told them: The data center would use twice as much electricity as all of Monterey Park."
The city’s notification in English reached only 40 people living within 500 feet. Activists worked in English, Chinese, Spanish & more!
Women tried to keep us out of this mess
Hoo boy, that was a tough listen. Two women in a department store, browsing racks right next to me, discussing 'immigrants'. I had to walk away when one said '...and you know what? We'll never get them all out of here either'.
There's just no helping some people. 🙄 #Its2026

Every time this tailor posts a photo of their workspace, it looks like their dog is a tailor and he's showing off the garments he made.
