Brian Dewan built this desk for me more than thirty years ago. Since then I’ve taken it apart and moved it five times. It’s now in it’s sixth studio and being readied for it’s fourth decade of service.

Strolling around San Diego today I visited this monument depicting a sailor sexually assaulting a dental hygienist on V-J day. The name of the 25 foot high computer generated kitsch, if you weren’t already creeped out by what it depicts, is “Unconditional Surrender.”
