Totally relate….I’m so sorry & I really feel for you. I hope you get a break from time to time & manage to look after your own heath.

It’s hard to see it when you’re in it. You feel so stuck….and then you feel guilty for feeling stuck when your loved one is suffering so much. But I’m so glad I was able to be there for him when he needed me most. I’m grateful, I grew as a person, our connection intensified, & I regret nothing.

I have so many thoughts. As caregiver to my partner for 8 yrs, l took care of all, went to every treatment. His final 2 yrs were harrowing & I wanted a different life. But I was there for him, & now consider it my greatest demonstration of ❤️.

Swalwell: a huge disappointment. I recall with hilarity the 2016 campaign when tRump continuously tweeted about caravans of illegals arriving at the southern border & Swalwell tweeted a reply that went something like “These caravans. Do you see them in the room with you now?”

Sasse had to go off daraxonrasib for a while & take antibiotics for his wounds. He is tolerating these wounds (as J did)….for now. Unfort in the real world setting of how patients go about their lives, a ‘quality of life’ story eventually emerges that augments early press about breakthroughs.

Exciting news in the second line setting! But….I’d want to know more about toxicities after seeing Ben Sasse’s facial lesions. (I remember J had to discontinue capecitabine because he developed severe bloody blisters on his foot soles, making it painful & eventually impossible to walk. Hands too.)
