Which part? The hiring a coach and GM with no prior experience? Picking someone other than the consensus #1 overall pick as their first pick move? Getting to the playoffs in 3 years? Playing a 5’9 2nd round pick 30 minutes in a playoff win in his second season? When has this been done before?

Actually Triumph is in Ottawa on 5/2 so no idea what will happen if the 5/1 Laval Rocket game happens... That's above my pay grade.
5/3 is also a possibility. I assume if the AHL pushes the Triumph concert scheduled on 5/1 to 5/2 then obviously there can't be a PWHL game that day.
If Toronto does not advance vs Rochester in the AHL 1st round, then there is no conflict on 4/29 and no concert change on 5/1.
Who wants some PWHL playoff schedule speculation?
There are events at Place Bell on 4/30 and 5/1. Potential AHL games on 4/29 and 5/1.
The MTL series could start 5/2 with Game 2 on 5/5. I think 4/29 is early and potentially conflicts with AHL.
Please note this is complete speculation.
Nothing about the Montreal Canadiens rebuild has been conventional. Not the head coach they hired. Not the first overall pick they had. Not even the GM picked to lead it all.
There have been ups and downs, but they never wavered. They never panicked.
In Game 1 on Sunday, all of that came in handy.
I remember literally being in that room right after the pick and listening to him and being “OHHHH”. Everyone in that 2022 class gave me that reaction, actually.
Jon Cooper right now
Remember when people were upset with the pick the Canadiens made at first overall in 2022? I do. (I admit I was skeptical too… until I heard Juraj talk)
This is just for Montreal teams, by the way.
Over/Under on playoff OT periods I have to sit through for NHL and PWHL is set at 8.5
Perhaps the most incredible stat of the PWHL season. The Montreal Victoire ended their home schedule with 2 shorthanded goals. And only one power play goal allowed.
Yes, at home this season (including Takeover Tour games) their penalty kill has a goal differential of +1 #PWHL
😂😂😂😂

Our series preview episode dropped. Many thanks to @jaredbook.bsky.social for stopping by and chatting. #GoBolts

From the beautiful weather outside to the Victoire fans around Place Bell over 3 hours before the game started, to the two top teams in the league battling for first place, it certainly feels like a playoff game at Place Bell tonight.
Magic number to clinch either 1st place or Home ice in Round 1 (top-2)
Yep. Wild.
I don't know if I updated GF and GA for New York and Toronto, so that may be wrong, just FYI.
Man, if we knew roofs didn't have to function properly they could have held MLB games at Olympic Stadium all this time!!!! #AmericanFamilyField
I think this is what the kids call tight. #PWHL
With Minnesota’s loss in regulation to Boston, the Montreal Victoire will clinch home-ice advantage in Round 1 of the PWHL playoffs with a single point in their final three games or any point lost by Minnesota in their final three games. #PWHL
Just think, the difference between the Capitals and the Penguins or Flyers is 4-7 games.
Guess Patrick Roy wasn’t the issue.

Only change is Giaquinto for Mattivi with her with Team Italy
Just say you’re supporting the Greig family I’m sure they’ll understand 😅
There’s such a buzz around hockey in Montreal right now from the Habs to the Victoire and even the Rocket.
The Montreal Canadiens have 10 players on the current roster under 25. Only *two* of them don't have NHL playoff experience: Adam Engström and Jacob Fowler.
They have three players 26 or younger with Stanley Cup Final games.
This team may be young but they aren't inexperienced.
Oui! J’ai fait ce parallèle en 2021 parce que 0-3 était un état similaire au 0-5.
This is just how the Canadiens celebrate winning goals vs Tampa at the Bell Centre...
