I worked at an insurance company in the legal dept. where they were so invested in denying claims they paid a couple hundred lawyers and support staff - in two locations!, to defend the lawsuits that people had to file to get their coverage. Yes I quit over a claim.

I’ve never run farther than a 5K, and I didn’t race high, but training for it after smoking a little was really nice. It took the pressure out of “doing the miles” and let me enjoy the process of training.
