If the marketplace flops and EA decides that the game is no longer lucrative and parts with Maxis, will the game still be in our libraries? Something I was wondering. I have no idea how a studio sale works obviously. Have you experienced this before with another game?

I just saw there's issues with the marketplace thing ea launched (I'm not surprised) and just want to remind people one of the best ways to let EA know you don't support this move is to not buy anything via the marketplace.

Pre-emptive friendly reminder to CC users who've patched their games with the Apocalypse Marketplace Patch: Don't harass CC or mod creators about broken content. We can't do shit right now.

(don't update if you can avoid it)

Can we just collectively agree to not patch our games ever again and just remain playing this pre-marketplace version as the last stable one?😭

Why is this important? Because launching from the shortcut will patch your game first before it launches. Put your app in offline mode first then hit the play button next to the game you want to play offline, and you'll be fine till this horror show is over 🥴
