Be weird.
Always check carseats in parked vehicles. Just a glance and you could save a life.
Also, make a habit to leave your phone with the carseat when travelling with babes. If you are too tired or running late to do this, then you should not drive. Just stop. Phone someone. Change plans.
or....just listen for a moment...
you could
plant trees and sit in shade
instead of
plant flags and create deserts
nevermind.
innuendo that the procedure is being elected because palliative Pts worry that POAsForPC are overriding DNR is...
a sign of poorly enforced legal burden & the increasingly weak moral compass of MDs in a profiteered system progression

"the kind of thing that requires a team working full-time, combining AI content, voice actors, and real news clips with a level of editing that suggests actual technical skill. Not ad revenue. Not a kid in a basement. A team"
Listen to....
I told you...
Sometimes I grow weeds
For entertainment
The (neighbours) do not like that
Birch is supposed to be white,
not orange
Goldenrod is ragweed
Seed maples are (inappropriate)
Trees are not for urban lots
My leaves are on their side
Clover & violets are weeds
yay Spring! Let the games begin!
Keep walking.
For example, a conversation took place in front of me where an employee was openly asking the status of their $15k monthly paycheque. (agahst!) Also, "employees only" breakrooms or restrooms. Inferior safety equipment or safety training. Not providing recommendations or job leads for excellent work.
Consider before volunteering:
-will you be ok working unpaid alongside people paid substantially more for similar work
-will it feel like work
-will they thank you
-will you be welcomed, trained & treated as a teammate
-will they flex to meet your needs
-if the work is unsafe can you accept the risk
"...their fingerprints are all over many data sets, ... rarely recognized as full contributors on projects, as co-authors and ...ways that are formally rewarded ...they often appear only in a short phrase in the acknowledgements section. Their hidden labour and expertise can be difficult to measure.
ug Volunteer week
people will tell you to "just volunteer...you'll meet people... you'll meet employers who are hiring...get back out there!"
nope. just many more unemployed downtrodden worn out exploited people providing free labour
If you do it, &there are nonfinancial rewards, choose carefully
"married women were seen as dependent on their husbands. Politicians (men) raised their voices to protect family sanctity by suggesting that a housewife should not be incentivized to join the workforce with the lure of a pension. Instead, a wife would benefit from her husband’s workplace pension..."
what on earth is circulating online about health effects of radiation from medical imaging? it's really weird bc the same people will likely also simultaneously sign up for Private-pay full-body scans to reveal benign incidentalomas leading to expensive testing cascades that can involve radiation...
pssst what were they distracting us from?
I'm not asking you to like me
I'm asking you to listen to me
Incarceration is not supportive housing.
"Honouring a person’s humanity is ...dignity as they age. For Canadians in LTC,dignity is shaped by moments that acknowledge their humanity...the face of a familiar nurse, the opportunity to engage in social activities or spending their final days in a known place, dignity is not beyond measurement."
"There’s a lot of hacking of health systems...In the future, it’s very possible that they will try to inject fake medical data — which will be even worse than stealing, because then you will not be able to differentiate which part of the medical chart is real and which part is synthetic.”
"The ordinary is not something we usually aspire to – it’s seen as a sign of moral failure. A life unlived. A lazy, flattened existence. ...the Oxford definition of “ordinary”...was to be common, indistinguishable by rank or position. That sounded kind of Buddhist to me."
😳
As a frontline healthcare worker, this should create "no confidence" in the House. There is substantial Public money available & it is clearly not being used for Public activities. The level of insult on top of ongoing injury to us is insidious& cruel. unDemocratic behaviour &it breaks Public trust
Listen to Women.
We stand up for each other together.
Stand. Speak.
Even if your knees shake and your voice waivers and you sweat through your clothes.
Stand. Speak.
