The fact you can't conceive that people dislike Starmer because he's too conservative, not because he's not conservative enough, is wild. Maybe, just maybe, some of us think he needs to be more progressive and less of a toady to conservative interests.

In possibly the wildest thing that's ever happened to me, I was in East Jerusalem on 9/11. It was quite the inoculation against anti Palestinian BS.

(Also I realised I may have misspoken, I don't remember off the top of my head if East Jerusalem is in the West Bank. I think so, but not 100% sure.)

It's been a known thing for me since 2001, but that is literally only because I went to Israel to do voluntary work in the West Bank & saw it with my own eyes. The media have done their best for literally decades to make Palestinians the bad guys & Israelis innocent victims. Most people don't know.
