The cost of a ticket is prohibitive for me. There are very few movies I want to pay that much to see, it makes me very choosey. If tickets were cheap I might say "eh, why not?" But when a movie ticket is 90% of the cost of a DVD, and with popcorn and a soda you double that, why go?

I think I may have an idea why the theaters are struggling. I paid 20 bucks for a seat then waited through 40 minutes of commercials before I got to see the movie I paid for….

Oh, well that would explain it. I don't watch tv. Ever.
