me: people should read the classics.
the classics:
I had just enough spoons to do a tiny update. I hope everyone has a good April. ๐
Please know that I'm not giving up on my stories. The fact that I can't get them out of my head means they will be written, eventually.
In the meantime, please remember to rate/review my books if you've already read them, and recommend them to anyone you think might enjoy them. ๐ซถ
What I work on (when I have time/energy) is determined by my mood. Sometimes something comes along that inspires me to write rapidly, but I'm no longer participating in an annual writing Derby due to them now using AI covers. So that leaves room for me to focus on the works already in progress.
4/5
I continue to have multiple projects: a sapphic dramatic romance (plotted; researched; parts written); a quiet post-apocalyptic literary thing (plotted); an ancient historical romantic tragedy thing; a bi4bi novella? (barely plotted); an adult SFF epic thing (redeveloping).
3/5
I'm sorry that as of now I'm not sure that I will have anything to offer in 2026. There is simply too much going on between (mental) health stuff, apartment stuff, work, trying to learn French, and being an adult with responsibilities in a collapsing world.

a photo of the author softly smiling at the camera with her novel even if we're broken held under her chin. the words indie april are on the top right, words on the bottom left are: 3 years, 2 countries, 5 stories, zero spoons. covers of the rest of the author's books are on the left.
#IndieApril ๐โจ an update of sorts
I published my first novella in September 2023, and my first novel in April 2024. I then published another novella in October 2024, followed by another in October 2025.

Former Olympic snowboarder Brandon Pike and college admissions recruiter Skylar King meet in an online chronic-pain support group. No offense to the AG--I'm a member & it does valuable work. But I am irritated by initiatives (this isn't the only one) that purport to authenticate human authorship but when you dig into them really just boil down to an assumption of participants' good faith www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/...
