Bantam Plots Some time off over Easter meant I was able to spend some time getting started with the Bantam NextDraw 8511. This week was mostly about setting up the plotter in a slightly more accessible location and getting started with setting up inkscape and place to record progress. Hopefully to make it easier to continue than my false start last time.

Energy neutral water pump - doing a bit of prototyping at @casaucl.bsky.social for a project with Mac at Nuna Studio - pump works great at a height of 7m. Good to see the spreadsheet theory working in practice. Next up, test rig to run it for a week.

Great post. When I arrived at UCL for the new East project it felt like some of these new ways of working were being implemented, but as we moved to business as usual we have reverted to the star / machine tensions.
