you can make it pretty far in life by just not being an annoying dickhead. which is why it's strange that so many people seem to be dickheadmaxxing

Not sure if this is a good tip but it works for me and my cheesy air fryer snacks! Always put down a layer of aluminum foil under the sticks, leave enough room around the sides of the basket/tray so air can flow, but that helps me keep my air fryer clean!
All the Special N64 Cartridge Colors! 🎨
Baby Dylan from this very tournament! This was in 2011!!
I bred all these for at least two 30/31 IV stats, the correct nature, and for certain moves in a couple cases. Then I EV trained them against the right enemies and maxed out their stats exactly how I wanted. Didn't have to do any training when I imported them, they're ready to go!!
Emolga was one of my favorites from this game! I spent a lot of time breeding in high IVs as well as the move "Air Slash" (which had to be bred in by having a Woobat/Swoobat father back in Gen V) even though Thunderus was legal and a way better Electric/Flying type.
The idea for the double battle tournament was to start with Garbodor and Chandelure and then asses the field. If I felt like Garbodor could last a couple turns I'd do Poison Spikes or Spikes, but if not I'd open with Explosion. Chandelure is immune and hopefully I take out something!
Pokemon summary screen for Garbodor. Moves: Toxic Spikes, Sludge Wave, Spikes, Explosion. Max Attack and Speed stats.
Pokemon summary screen for Chandelure. Moves: Energy Ball, Flamethrower, Protect, Shadow Ball. Max Sp. Attack and Speed stats.
Pokemon summary screen for Emolga. Moves: Thunderbolt, Air Slash, Volt Switch, Double Team. Max Sp. Attack and Speed stats.
I finally get to play with these Pokemon again! These were the first few Pokemon I bred and trained for tournament play back in Pokemon Black and White! The meta then was limited to Gen 5 Pokemon, my fourth was Meinshao but they're not in #Pokemon Champions yet.
Pokemon Champions gets a 10/10 from me because it made all the work I put into transferring my Pokemon up through the games and into Pokemon Bank and into Pokemon Home worth it. I now get to pull out my old Pokemon and play online matchmaking with them!!
I am having so much fun being able to pull out some of my old well bred Pokemon and do random stuff like "Explosion Garbodor"

Ignoring all the other things that Artemis II is supposed to be (or not be) about, the fact we get basically once-in-a-generation human-eye-trained hand-held photographs that are like this is definitely one of the things that highlights the human element of it all to me TBH
This is so accurate it hurts. Great video by @mega64official.bsky.social as usual youtu.be/Cm68zj65sz4?...
The highest quality video of the moon was just released…
so beautiful
* Artemis II
Captured by the Artemis II crew during their lunar flyby on April 6, 2026, this image shows the Moon fully eclipsing the Sun. From the crew’s perspective, the Moon appears large enough to completely block the Sun, creating nearly 54 minutes of totality and extending the view far beyond what is possible from Earth. The corona forms a glowing halo around the dark lunar disk, revealing details of the Sun’s outer atmosphere typically hidden by its brightness. Also visible are stars, typically too faint to see when imaging the Moon, but with the Moon in darkness stars are readily imaged. This unique vantage point provides both a striking visual and a valuable opportunity for astronauts to document and describe the corona during humanity’s return to deep space. The faint glow of the nearside of the Moon is visible in this image, having been illuminated by light reflected off the Earth.
And the source for yhe eclipse photo.

livestream from a spaceship on the way to the moon is crazy
It's incredible that we get this intimate look at the spacecraft for most of the mission. These modern moon missions are going to be amazing to watch and follow!
Unprecedented coverage from Artemis II! This is incredible that they're literally livestreaming on their way to the moon. These modern moon missions are going to be incredible and bring back incredible science! www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3kR...

This is such a fucking hot picture from NASA for the Artemis II launch.
Small amount of propellant, rotating wheels for pitch and yaw control, and a small simple camera. It could be launched from a charging dock and film/inspect the exterior of the craft. Then just try to get it stationary and leave it up to film. Make it cheap, light, and expendable.
I wonder how small you could make a "camera drone" that works in zero G that NASA could just position outside the spacecraft for these long travel segments to broadcast the mission.

The Astronauts truly representing us all up there.
My childhood game boy advanced, upgraded with a new case, backlit LCD screen, and USB rechargeable battery, displaying one of the opening cutscenes to Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. Donald is looking around the empty lobby and says "Looks like nobody's home" Oh Donald if only you knew how many nobodies were home.
I'm doing a run through of the original KH: Chain of Memories with my upgraded childhood GBA and so far I'm having a blast with it! I played through Re:CoM before but never played the original GBA game and it has a unique feel!
