So let me get this straight. The Justice Department WON’T investigate the shooting of a woman protesting ICE excesses in Minnesota but WILL investigate the Governor and Mayor?
What are you going to charge the Mayor and Governor with? “Felony disagreement?”
Absurd and shameful.
Minnesota ICE agents tell a child that they will put a bullet in her head if she doesn't shut up. #cdnpoli
Omg what??????

damn -- CNN put together a video of Kristi Noem claiming ICE officers are "highly trained and skilled" and "gifted" alongside to a clip of them beating someone nearly to death in Minneapolis
Held: Many of the ICE agents that drive by have their phones up to the window..I don’t know why, but part of the lawsuit you alluded to earlier alleges that ICE is using an app that can take a picture of a face, identify it, and store it for 15 years.
“That’s slavery.”
Civil Rights lawyer @oliverma2026.bsky.social (running for CA Lt. Gov.) reminds us ICE detainees work in for-profit prisons for $1/day just to pay for phone calls to their families.
Cruelty is big business.
P.S. @CoreCivic’s new CEO’s last name is “Swindle” — beyond parody
This is the guy we’re letting poison Memphis and drill a gaping hole in Nashville?
They won't... they won't
They won't
ICE agents would be permanently barred from becoming state or local cops in Illinois if a state politician gets her way.

New tariff just dropped.
Americans set to pay an additional 10% tax on all goods from Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.
It starts in two weeks, rising to 25% by June.
(Aside: A trade war with one EU country is a trade war with the entire EU).
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
“A federal judge on Friday barred federal agents in Minneapolis from arresting peaceful protesters, or using nonlethal munitions and crowd control tools against them.”

This is a problem
I love that arched entrance to a designer bar and grill on Cambridge Trinity Street. I'm glad it has been preserved or rebuilt because it became quite dilapidated years ago. Money does have its uses. Next door was Jaegar, now The Ivy Brasserie. All these flashy and expensive places would have been quite alienating to me coming to Cambridge now instead of simpler times in 1974 when pubs were scruffy and cheap.
A small watercolour drawing of the entrance to HA!HA! on Trinity St, Cambridge (now Strada) with passing figures. This sold at an exhibition I had in King Street in 2000. Doesn't seem long ago to me. See alt text

A child making friends with a horse. I'm not sure if its Spring or Autumn. It's a painting of Terry Harrison's that I copied from a watercolour teaching book.
This watercolour painting is called Making Friends. #art #MakingFriends #watercolours #painting
Yeah but we’re getting a $400 million ballroom so quit complaining.
ICE agents are stalking the streets of Minneapolis demanding that random brown people provide proof of citizenship.
We good with that, America?
I thought we learned this lesson back in World War II, but I guess not.
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents just launched flash bang grenades at protesters in front of federal building in Minneapolis—causing massive explosions. "It's terrorizing, this isn't the America I served for 20 years in the U.S. Navy," tearful protester tells us.
WE'RE LIVE NOW ⬇️
BREAKING: ICE agents in Minneapolis violently detained and arrested a U.S. citizen for one reason only: he refused to prove his citizenship.
No crime. No warrant. No probable cause.
