Interesting read. I agree with Adam Kinziger who keeps asking “where are the democrats” and this columnist seeks both to understand at least some of the incumbent’s supporters, but also seeks to hold Dems accountable for their stated ideals.

A small, frustrating sign of the times: the USDA has a small, simple, but pretty comprehensive food safety app. Once upon a time, one could look up items and add their expiration dates to a personal calendar. Yesterday I discovered that it no longer works, and I doubt there’s anyone left to fix it.
We’re behind the times: just watched the first episode of Severance. Unlike anything we’ve seen lately, but I’m not sure dystopian fiction is the best escapism at this point in history.
