But also! Let's not cede ground to suggest that current conservative views are merely one view among many, all equally legitimate.
Viewpoint diversity on human rights?
Viewpoint diversity on international law and war crimes?
Values are also factual.

This study shows that disinformation spreads, not as “false facts”, but as narratives. Compare that to how mis- and disinformation are often operationalized in the big-N quantitative and experimental research in the Nature/Science journals — that’s a major weakness in the field.

Had an interesting thing happen yesterday: an anonymous stranger paid for my family's lunch at a cafe.

We have no idea why.

To that stranger: thank you!

Looking at Waltz's 1959 classic work for the first time in about a decade I wonder how different the discipline of IR would look if he'd followed the focus of the first couple of pages and titled the book Man, the State, and Peace.

Trump Term II is also starting to hit Bush era rhetorical highs:

'When asked if Trump was “winding” down the war or “escalating” it, Bessent said: “They are not mutually exclusive. Sometimes you have to escalate to de-escalate.”'

That's going to be in an IR paper title within a year

If Westphalia was a myth, as established by revisionist scholarship over the course of 25 years in IR, how can we be returning to a Westphalian international system?
