Tonight would likely be forgotten by tomorrow, Celeste knew. Anything she said wouldn't stick. But both of them will make the most of here and now. So why not have fun, just one more time?

"Tch." She walked quickly, not watching the acrobat anymore. The bar was her destination. No longer paying any mind to the soft, delicate hands around her collar. Neither to her own scarred, fur-coated one sliding along that same arm to subconsciously take the place of the collar

"A night you got robbed like a cat and went on a goose chase," she paused and met eyes with Silver "or as one night with me?"

No response. The quiet held long, sitting still in the warmth of each others hands. One hand could fit both of Celeste's. Yet that grip was do soft.

She grabbed the unicorns arm, staring her down. She had a new mission to do. She had to. She was betrayed. When she saw that rat she would-

"Well, what do ya wanna remember tonight as?" The question interrupted the rampant thoughts of the insatiable animal.

"What?" The wolf was bewildered, dragged along by a woman half her size.

"If ya wanted ta drink with me, ya coulda jus asked." She stated with a shrug, the bar I sight at the end of the road.

"As if, pipsqueak. He really did take my bottle!"

Not a soul in sight. Whoever it was, they were long gone.

"Shaaame" the unicorn sang out, reaching down to ruffle the woman's mane.

"Quit it! I need to catch that shit!"
Yet Celeste just tugged on her collar and started walking.

"You can't fool me /that/ easily." She cooed.

Her eyes are clearly surprised to see her 'buddy', but her body seems pumped with adrenaline. Chasing something?

"Fucker took my bottle!" She finally cried out with a painful whine.
"A bottle?"
"/my/ bottle, Carny."

Celeste rolled her eyes, in doing so checking around the two.

"Silver, what's got chya all spooked?" Her body relaxed as she spoke. They had been drinking together just a week ago, as silver likes to do. Celeste had to pay, but its alright. 'A hot mess deserves a treat every once in a while', she recalls saying.

The lycan blinks.

She kicked herself up to her feet, making some distance between her and the potential attackers. Her muscles tensed hot, body reacting faster than her eyes. She couldn't be caught. She looked up from her stance.

And there in front of her was a dumb mutt of a girl. Again.

Well, it is the cursed apple. Who knows what it could be. Not like they can compare to a real unicorn.

She had to get to her feet fast. There are more than enough thieves who would kill her for her horn, she refused to just be a sitting duck for this trick being played on her

She was grace, able to awe an entire audience with her finesse, trained perfect control over her sylphlike body.

And yet only one person running out of the alleyway was enough to break her balance. A scraggy good for nothing had ruined it. What is there to even run from?

More of her attention was on the clouds, not a single care to what's coming. She had already seen the lamppost and trash can 30 and 61 steps away, no need for her to look back at them. This was her way home every day, able to walk it with her eyes closed

So how did she fall?

Celeste was walking home from the show, her makeup not meeting up to that "24 hour" label.

Walking on the curb exclusively, one foot in front of the other, her hands out to her sides. Useless now, she's been doing it long enough that it's second nature to her

She's getting it tomorrow, already scheduled
